About the Book
Suitable for examinations from 2025, this Revision Guide covers the material in the Cambridge IGCSE International Mathematics (Extended) course by syllabus topic. For each topic, there is a theory summary highlighting the important facts and concepts, as well as an extensive set of skill practice questions. The content of this revision guide has been updated and rewritten to reflect curriculum changes and to line up with our Cambridge IGCSE International Mathematics (0607) Extended (3rd Edition) Textbook.
Following the coverage of the syllabus topics, the Guide has three practice examinations. Each practice examination contains three papers: a Paper 2, a Paper 4, and a Paper 6.
To reflect changes in exam format, in addition to changes to account for curriculum content updates,
- Papers 2 and 4 are now approximately the same length and worth the same number of marks
- Paper 2 now contains some long/structured questions
- Paper 4 now contains some short/unstructured questions
- The number of marks in Paper 6 has been reduced to 50.
The Guide also contains some extra Paper 6 practice questions. These questions have been included to give students more practice at answering the Investigation and Modelling questions they will encounter in Paper 6 of their examination.
Fully worked solutions are provided for all skill practice question sets, practice examinations, and Paper 6 practice questions.
